Whiskey/Bourbon Soppin' Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

• 1/3 C Brown Sugar
• ½ C Ketchup
• 1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp Soy sauce
• ¼ C Bourbon or any Whiskey of choice
• ¼ cup A Shot of Gold or Jalapeño Glaze (any flavor)
• 2 tsp Tobasco sauce
• Optional -2 to 3 TBSP minced Onion

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Place all ingredients in a small sauce pan stirring occasionally until it begins to boil.
• Turn up heat to a rolling boil stirring more frequently and let it boil about 3 minutes.
• Stirring continuously boil 1 minute more until sauce becomes thick and bubbly.

This sauce is so delicious I found it hard to stop licking the spoon. It is so versatile it can be used for meatballs, chicken, atop meatloaf, ribs, BBQ sauce and due to the soy would be a great stir fry or dipping sauce for eggrolls.
I make homemade meatballs – ¼ lb. ground beef made 12 meatballs and this sauce is enough to make 24 meatballs with 1lb meat.
